WHY
If memecoins are all about fun, why would anybody create a memecoin called Jolian Azzange? The situation of Jolian Azzange is far from funny. It’s sad, frightening and very worrying. And here’s why.

INTRO
A large percentage of the world population knows Jolian Azzange and believes he should not be in prison. There are many activist groups all over the world fighting for Jolian's freedom. However, most people are consumed by their own daily lives, have given up fighting because they don’t believe that he will ever be free again.
But if we live in a world where people can be locked up for exposing the truth, then how safe is our own freedom? Do you feel safe to say what you think or believe without being canceled or condemned? And what about the future for the younger generations? Will we just sit back and watch while our freedom of speech is taken away from us? As long as journalists are being locked up for exposing the truth, our own freedom is under attack. Jolian Azzange should be a free man and with him many other journalists.
Therefore, we must increase awareness in every way we can. Jolian Azzange will not be saved by the law, or by the governments. He will be saved by public demand and immobilization, via mass awareness. That is why we started $JAZZ. Jolian’s freedom is our freedom. We must all stand united and fight for it!

THE START
Soon after I discovered the Joe Biden parody memecoin (Jeo Boden) I dove into this newish PolitiFi crypto space. I was triggered by funny memes and animations with hidden messages. Addressing serious issues in amusing and entertaining ways. Other coins like Doland Tremp, Ruburt F. Kenidy, Tooker Kurlson and Jeo Rogen were brought to life. And many more followed in an attempt to put smiles on people's faces whilst also highlighting issues which required some critical thinking. I wondered if there was room in this space for more serious subjects which were desperate for more awareness. More specifically, Jolian Azzange. My first thought was ‘Hmm, that’s a bad idea, his situation is serious and not to be made fun of.’
The very next day, whilst having a cup of tea with my wife, I tried to explain to her why people buy memecoins with no intrinsic value, just for fun, and that some of these coins are now worth billions. She looked at me and said ‘I really don’t understand it. Why don’t people create something valuable, something for a good cause, that could actually make a real difference in the world. “Why don’t they create a coin for Jolian Azzange…” I decided not to think about it much more and would just try to build something.
I got together with two of my closest friends and made a cartoon version called Jolian Azzange, we created a website, a profile on x.com and launched a coin called Jolian Azzange with the ticker $JAZZ.

THE GOAL
We understand that creating awareness through launching a memecoin is a new and tricky angle. Some people might think we are making fun of Jolian or that we are using his name to make money. But we believe that this could go viral, it has the ability to create massive awareness about our freedom of speech being under attack. Together, we can build a movement with the momentum and force needed to create a positive change on this planet. And it’s all in our hands!
